Now the 'Githeri man' as popularly known, became internet sensation after a photo of him eating githeri while queuing at a polling station went viral online.
Martin Kimotho has so far landed interviews on TV and Radios where he revealed that he does not own a phone he got the information from her sister's phone.
The telecommunication giant - Safaricom Ltd tracked the 'githeri man' and rewarded him with goodies worth 230,000 Kshs.
Safaricom Ltd gave the family gadgets worth such amount, him received Samsung S8+ worth 95,000Kshs, her wife a similar phone and there son Techno Canon worth 50,000Kshs.
